With respect to the extended Channel 4 News program this evening…. I am sooooo fed up with having to watch ‘debates’ rather than civilised interviews on news programs. I am sick of the bad manners, interruptions and aggression, when I am desperate to hear what people have to say. We are currently living through critical times for our country and rational thought and positivity are vital. News presenters who deliberately wind up politicians and other speakers do the viewers and our country no favours at all. For goodness sake, have the manners to listen and respect those who are contributing to your progam. We do not need any more drama to sell these news stories and incessant criticism and negativity towards everybody is totally unhelpful. It is quite likely to cause even further fear and volatility in the general poulation, at a time when people need calmly delivered information.
